Six days before my own wedding is when I question what I was doing, but with the pressure of the wedding already paid for, the flights already booked and the wedding planner set up to greet us, the pressure was too much to cancel in my mind.
When it was time to walk down the path of the hotel’s garden to the gazebo, I walked by an elderly couple who whispered while I walked past them and what I heard only confirmed my angst to saying “I do.” I did it anyway and the rest what history.
That history taught me my biggest life’s lesson, but it also paved my path for what I choose to do for a career choice today as a Divorce Specialist and Mediator here in Calgary.
